SunCamper 31 – comfort in high quality
The SunCamper 31 yacht was created thanks to many years of experience in the production and operation of its predecessors: the popular SunCamper 30 – Yacht of the Year in Poland in 2010 and SunCamper 35 – Yacht of the Year in Poland in 2019. Thanks to the use of proven solutions, the SunCamper 31 model was created. It will be perfect in various conditions and will make your stay even more pleasant.
SunCamper 31 with extended stern platform
SunCamper 31 is a model that fully reflects the Balt Yacht philosophy – comfort and ease of access in every detail. What distinguishes it from the SunCamper 29 model is its uniquely designed, extended stern platform, which is a perfect solution for anyone who values comfort and functionality.
The large and spacious platform facilitates boarding regardless of the mooring side, providing convenient access to the yacht. Thanks to the central section, which lifts on actuators, it is possible to fully tilt the outboard engine, which guarantees easy access to the propeller – everything needed for quick maintenance or service.
The high railing at the end of the platform not only provides additional security, but also becomes an ideal place to store equipment such as bicycles or paddleboards. Additionally, the platform is equipped with a spacious storage compartment.
SunCamper 31 – everything worth knowing about it
At first glance, in terms of style, SunCamper 31 resembles another, slightly larger model – SunCamper 35, which is also very popular. The newer yacht has a modern silhouette, a perfectly hydrodynamic hull and an impressive interior that will make you immediately feel at home. SunCamper 31 is also characterized by optimal dimensions and weight, making land transport much easier, and maneuvering or mooring on water simpler and safer than ever.
Functionality at an even higher level
Houseboat SunCamper 31 has a very characteristic and functional hull shape. The bow itself is located higher and has a “cup shape”, which is intended to ensure “dry” sailing even during high waves. Additionally, there is a special gate at the bow, which, combined with the lowered useful bow gangway, enables even more convenient disembarkation. However, to get down from the bow to the beach or shallow shore, you can use an additional ladder.
An interior that immediately makes an impression
SunCamper 31 has been designed in such a way that its interior is functional and highly aesthetic. One of the most important features is the large and glazed deckhouse, which includes 2 cabins, a living room-helmhouse and a bathroom. Both the bright deckhouse and the cockpit are placed under a sun roof with two sliding covers. The covers can be easily opened, allowing for better ventilation and sunlight. The rear cover has been designed in such a way that photovoltaic panels can be mounted on it if necessary and desired. This incredible interior is also very well lit with natural light, which is possible thanks to the large deckhouse windows and glazed, sliding rear doors that provide visibility in all directions. In case of bad weather, you can easily lower the tent hidden under the roof, which will cover the cockpit and protect against rain and wind.
A space that will provide you with maximum comfort
The functional interior of the deckhouse has been designed to meet even the highest requirements. First of all, inside there is a spacious and closed bow cabin with a double berth, a bunk berth and a bathroom. Both the cabin and the bathroom are properly lit and ventilated. The left side of the living room has a comfortable dining area with a table and comfortable seats for four people. After lowering the table, it can turn into two additional beds. The living room-wheelhouse has a kitchen module with a sink, gas stove, fridge, cabinet and practical drawers. Everything well-lit by LEDs. Under the floor of the salon-helmhouse there are water tanks necessary for sailing and all “life” batteries, which are easily accessible. Behind the dinette there is a comfortable two-person aft cabin. Inside you will find all the necessary equipment, such as cabinets, storage compartments and lighting lamps. Just in front of the deckhouse there is a very cozy bow cockpit with a seat for three people and space for a sun lounger.
Safety even in shallow waters
SunCamper 31 has been designed to perform perfectly on various types of waters. Among other things, it also makes cruises in relatively shallow waters easier. This is possible thanks to the use of three longitudinal keels. They protect both the bottom of the hull and the engine propeller against possible collisions with underwater obstacles, and simultaneously ensure good course stability and low drift when turning. All this makes sailing even safer.
Choice of drives
SunCamper 31 can be powered by „high thrust” outboard engines with power from 25 to 115 HP. To drive a houseboat without permission in Poland „high thrust” engines with a power up to 60 HP are recommended, which allows you reaching a speed of up to 15 km/h. At an economical speed of approximately 10 km/h, such engine consumes up to 3 liters of gasoline per hour.
Apart from the recommended outboard drive, versions with a 20 or 30 HP inboard diesel engine have also been developed, allowing a maximum speed of 12 – 14 km/h.
Besides, in the case of an ecological electric drive with a straight shaft or outboard, engines with a power of 8 – 20 kW powered by batteries with a safe voltage of up to 50 V are planned. A houseboat powered in this way should reach a maximum speed of 10 – 12 km/h.
Easy land transport (without road pilot)
It is possible due to the moderate unit weight of over 3 tons, width of 3 m and transport height on a truck trailer of approximately 3.8 m (viaducts up to 4 m). SunCamper 31 offers countless possibilities for a safe cruise, offering space and comfort. While, the modern design and the possibility to choose the colors of both the hull and the interior will make you personalize the design to your needs and you will immediately feel at home.
