The new DF200A four-stroke engine impresses with the high performance you would expect from a V6 engine. Today the DF200A is the lightest in its class. In addition, DF200A has outstanding features that customers can appreciate:
Direct air intake and variable valve timing system allow the most efficient use of useful heat transfer (heat engine efficiency) and ensure high performance.
“BigBlock” with 2,867 cm³ engine displacement and high compression ratio delivers fast revs and maximum torque at fairly low revs.

Knock, oxygen and water sensors allow you to monitor internal operating parameters and ensure trouble-free operation.
In addition to the DF200A, Suzuki is also launching a new DF200AP model with even more technical capabilities. The DF200AP will be the first 200hp outboard on the market to feature precise electronic control and rotation selection. The Rotation Select System allows dealers to set the motors for standard or reverse rotation, this is made possible by a specially designed drive in the lower gearbox and an electronic reverse switch.
In addition, the DF200AP model will have a keyless start ignition system. This system will use a key fob radio transmitter that transmits an access code to the engine start system. If this key fob is within 60 inches (approximately 1.5 m) of the main ignition unit, the engine can be started with the push of a button.
